Review of Memento (2000) by Luke B — 10 Nov 2013
I finally got around to seeing this movie- it just SCREAMS late-90s/early 2000s. This film is pretty much all about its concept, pretty much bragging to the viewer "hey, look at me! I'm different because I'm trying to mess with your mind.
" This, to me, is its downfall- it relies way too much on it's style and, when I think about it the story is pretty weak and implausible.
