Review of Melody (1971) by Yoshi B — 08 Apr 2006
I got up at 11:30. Much earlier than yesterday, yeah.
Sir called me and he told me he was on Commercial, he'd go downtown later. Went downtown after had lunch. I thought Sir was at Melriches or Starbucks around there, but he wasn't there. We met at Blenz on Davie. He's kinda fickle we talked we'd meet at the Starbucks on Thurlow and Davie, but he changed his mind. He was hot chocolate mode. Not a gig deal, though.
We chatted for a while, moved to starbucks on Seymour, and chatted again. He had to go to the Pacific Cinemateque to volunteer. He was a little in a rush. Be punctual.
I went to H(yundai) Mart on Seymour. Basically, I don't like it. It reminds me Japan, but I don't need it yet. I bought salmon for sushi and went home.
I made slmon & avocado rolls. It was good, but I used much avocados(just 2 though)....
I remembered the movie I told sir, called "MELODY". I like that movie. It's known as the unknown good movie(does it make sense?). Its DVD was released about 2years ago, and I bought it. There was a memorable scene for me, which is actually not an important scene for the story. A couple, small boy and girl find a grave which is for a couple died maybe for a long time ago. It made me think of my grand parents. Were they loving each other so much? Are they together now? etc... The movie makes me kinda pure anyway..... And I like a song of this movie, BEE-GEES's "Melody fair". I downloaded the song homehow(hush-hush). Sounds like the beatles', but good song, certainly.
School starts tomorrow. There won't be any pure things, but I'll hear the word "beautiful" instread.
