Review of Melinda and Melinda (2004) by Alysia V — 01 Dec 2008
I am more and more convinced that I am a fan of Woody Allen's creations because I continue to watch his films and I continue to be very pleased by them. He is a great writer, that is for sure. I love the slight variance of the two stories in this film, one being the comedy, the other being the tragedy.
..and it's just that. It's a tragic film yet a comedic film, so Woody did a great job portraying both aspects. It is well acted and Will Ferrell is even more humorous when playing his very serious roles, in my opinion.
Almost everything he said I found myself laughing at. He was great. Woody Allen's films are certainly always original and witty and this is another hit, in my opinion.
