Woody Allen on uninspired autopilot. Will Farrell SUCKS as an Allen surrogate. It felt like he was at a talent show for imitations (and doing badly, delivering lines that only Allen could pull off without sounding flat).
The entire cast seemed to be there just to say they were in a Woody Allen movie. Everyone was doing line readings, except for Brooke Smith -- (a.k.a. the girl down in the well in Silence of the Lambs) who was fun and natural -- and Vinessa Shaw, who was just plain HOT! Did I mention Will Farrell sucked?
