Review of Melinda and Melinda (2004) by Tarja V — 27 Nov 2010
The concept of one story presented as a comedy and as a tragedy is an interesting premise. But the film was so poorly delivered. At times I felt the tragedy story was just silly because it was so overblown.
The script was so pretentious that at some lines I nearly gagged on my liquorice stick and the characters were so haughty and conceited that if I were one of them i'd throw myself out of a window.
The only thing saving this movie was Will Ferrell.
