Review of Melinda and Melinda (2004) by Andrea P — 27 Nov 2010
A very interesting concept from the likes of Woody Allen, musing on comedy and tragedy. But this movie ultimately feels flat and uninspired. Virtually all of the characters in the tragedy part are completely unlikable, selfish and self-serving.
Look for Steve Carell in a pre-40 Year Old Virgin role that I'm surprised made it to the screen except to indicate some kind of bland tokenism as the best friend.
