Review of Melancholia (2011) by Joey S — 10 Feb 2013
I thought Kirsten Dunst was an intimidating presence throughout, and its probably nothing like anything she has done before. I didn't take to von Trier's last offering, but this film is certainly more 'normal'.
Some of the visuals are stunning, and even besides the beginning (which seems a strange way to start this film), there is an under-current of tension.
