Lars von Trier has exceptional imagination, this was evident within the prologue of the film which was spectacularly created, it looked beautiful sounded beautiful and would of made a powerhouse of a short art film if it stood alone. The prologue was what ultimately sold me on this film, after this piece of gorgeous film-making the rest of the film (for me) falls flat, I really didn't like the hand held camera in the film, and I could of made a very effective drinking game out of the amount of times I noticed a blurry image. The prologue created a majestic feel, which wasn't carried on into the main body, as I'd hoped it would be.

All in all I'm glad I've watched the film and I've never forgotten certain parts and elements but it won't be a film I'll personally buy on DVD or be upset about if I miss it on television.

Thank you for reading.
