Meagan Leavey - Review (2017).
The Good.
Kate Mara's Fantastic Performance as Corporal Megan Leavey.giving the best performance and showing a true bond between a Human and a Dog.
Rex is fucking adorable.
Common's Performance as Gunnery Sergeant Massey.
Ramón RodrÃguez as Corporal Matt Morales.
Tom Felton as Andrew Dean.
Bradley Whitford is always good as Bob Meagan's father.
Gabriela Cowperthwaite direction.
The Score.
The pacing was great - the Suspense and Tension.
It doesn't try to be a tear jerker but when it is it can be. Its not sappy.
The Bad.
Edie Falco as Jackie Leavey - Meagan's Mother - She was a god damn cunt.
Its speeds through things in the beginning.
The Romance didn't really go anywhere.
Overall: This was a great under the radar film you probably missed if you love Dogs or good movies about dogs or true stories this one to see.
Overall Grade: B+.
