Review of Megan Is Missing (2011) by Nicole P — 17 Apr 2012
Okay, so this movie is pretty messed up.
The acting of the teenagers in this movie was horrible. Some of the language they use, is what you would hear a teen say, but they went a little over board. The movie seems really fake, and its really hard to take this how the director wanted it be taken. He starts the movie with "All the footage shown here is real", so right away I know its not. There is a rape scene in the movie, which if you've seen one, you've kind of seen them all. The last 20 minutes of the movie is a little hard to watch, even for a guy like me.
I do think parents should watch this movie, and really keep an eye on their kids and monitor their online life. This movie could show parents the extreme, but very possible outcome of teens talking to strangers online.
