Review of Megamind (2010) by Joe O — 12 Jul 2013
Megamind is a hilarious parody superhero film that deliver us that one message that we saw in Despicable Me. "What if the villain is a good guy". This film finally delivers that message with funny and adult talking moments.
When I first saw the first poster of Megamind, I thought the animation was kinda similar to motion capture animation. Thats another reason why I like this film, the animation looks amazing to watch. That includes the character design also.
the voice actors are good and funny, especially Will Ferrell and Jonah Hill character. This is probably the second time I have seen Jonah Hill in a Dreamwork s film since How To Train Your Dragon. I wonder what the next Dreamwork s film he's gonna be in next.
If there is one problem with Megamind is that there are some recycle moments where Roxanne is the usual damsel in distress, but Tina Fey voicing her makes it all up. Megamind is a must watch Dreamwork s film.
