It's such a shame that no one with money saw this movie before it was released and just ploughed some cash into some longer effects. It's all there for a classic b-movie, a bold and ridiculous idea, patchy acting to giggle at and the story itself is fine but it's completely let down by how brief the footage of the two monsters is and not in a cool less is more Jaws way.
Even if they'd filmed a mis-matched rubber shark chomping on the plane and bridge for far too long they could have had a classic monster movie on their hands.
