Review of Meet the Spartans (2008) by Kyle N — 20 Feb 2011
I know I'm in complete minority, but I like the movie movies. Disaster movie, scary movies, epic movie, and superhero movie, they may suck, but they're funny as all hell. Yet this one just didn't get many laughs out of me, in fact, it only got one.
The part where the lead spartan goes into Grand theft auto, then starts playing, Barbie girl, but other than that, it isn't that funny. It might be because I never saw many movies paradied in this film, but still.
Well, at least the directors learned their mistake and fixed it with disaster movie, which brought back the funny. My recamendation, skip over this one, and go for the other great movie movies, unless you don't like parody.
