The Webster's Dictionary definition of the word parody is "A literary or artistic work that imitates the characteristic style of an author or a work for comic effect or ridicule" So one would think that a movie parody of the film "300" would, in fact, be a COMIC imitation (i.

E. one that is FUNNY). However, the only comedy this tripe of a movie was able to generate was the genius casting decision to pair Carmen Electra and Kevin Sorbo as two of your acting leads. Um, how can you expect to generate laughs when your two biggest names are known more for their eye-candy status than actually knowing how to act? In all fairness to this film, I think it's comical that they were in this silly mess in the first place so maybe tha'ts what the script writers and directors were aiming for.

They likely took one look at the steaming dogpile of a script and said to themselves "We HAVE to cast the worst actor and actress in all of cinema in order to compensate for the lack of any hilarity because casting these two people and actually expecting them to manufacture laughs and carry an actual comedic parody will be comedy in itself! Brilliant" Way to go, you succeeded.
