Review of Meet the Spartans (2008) by Antony W — 16 Dec 2010
When a film begins with the Twentieth Century Fox fanfare, it usually means that audiences are in for something truly special, or memorable, like when I saw the original Star Wars on the big screen back in 1982.
This is a terrible parody of the film 300. None of the 'jokes' worked. They were about bodily functions, based on bad puns such as character names like Sonio and Traitoro, were based on smut or innuendo, or slapdash references to other movies like Shrek, Spiderman 3, and Transformers.
Not even worth the $3.00 dollars weekly hire I paid from the video store around the corner from work.
