Review of Meet the Spartans (2008) by Marcust. — 01 Feb 2008

What I found especially annoying was that there were so many MORE opportunities to spoof "The 300" that they missed, and I already had it in my head ready to view them on the wide screen. "The 300" was a rather over-blown gladiator flick with self-indulgent aspirations of artfullness that were totally absurd.

I looked forward to seeing "300" shredded in "Meet the Spartans". Instead, I got to view some feeble adolescent slapstick stretched to 60 minutes. Shame on the producers for having so badly squandered a good idea on such trash as this.

I hope when released on DVD, the manufacturer will have the sense to use re-recordable media.
