Phil, I love Digimon, so shut up. Anyways, this movie pretty much signals the end of the genre. It has come a long way from the endless wit seen in Airplane and The Naked Gun movies. Sure, it has been dying since the mid-90s, but this movie should pretty much be the last nail in the coffin of spoof-comedies.
It makes me sad, but at least we'll always have Hot Shots to look back on.
