Review of Meet the Robinsons (2007) by Rachel H — 25 Nov 2010

Out of all Disney's non-pixar CGI features, this one is probably my personal favourite and is definitely better than Disney's other attempts without Pixar. The premise is original, well told with a great twist ending, and creative, the visuals are absolutely stunning, and the characters are funny and surprisingly well-developed. I also liked the singing frogs, it's actually one of the complete non-sequiturs in kids movies that actually works and doesn't annoy the audience.

Kids, you will love this movie. No questions asked. Younger kids however may get a little bored, seeing as this is market to nine-and-ups. Adults, you will actually like this too and you won't have to cringe in fear if your kids ask to rent this. I am drawing a bit of a blank and I can't seem to come up with anything that can be said about the movie that I haven't already said, so I will conclude the review right here.

As I said, it's a kids movie that will entertain adults as well as kids and another beautifully animated well told disney movie. Easily Disney's best non-pixar CGI feature and a great movie worth a rental.
