Review of Meet the Parents (2000) by Bryan W — 02 Apr 2011
When meeting your fiance's parents, as a guy you are always hoping to make a good impression on the father, especially when it comes to asking for permission in marriage. This movie takes this scenario and exaggerates it ten fold, with an intimidating father, and just blunder after blunder.
Although the movie gets progressively ridiculous, the chemistry between Stiller and De Niro is excellent, and the movie is funny and very worth watching.
