This movie offers an inspiring look into the lives of real people who do good in a world of so much hate. It does introduce you a bit to Mormonism but won't go into tons of detail about the doctrine.
Rather you will find uplifting stories based on people's love of God, how they were able to defy the odds and survive hardship, and find meaning in life. It is worth watching.
