Review of Meet the Feebles (1989) by Jonathan B — 29 Oct 2007
Very weird and has a lot of scenes that are just meant for shock value. But if your not too main stream to be scared off by these aspects, you'll quickly see that this movie is original, funny, and surprisingly well done for something that cost less to film than what I have in my wallet right now.
Itâ??s got a LOT of gross out humor and attacks some of the most taboo subjects (AIDS, Vietnam Vets, Overweight Hippos) like Brittney Spears does a bucket of fired chicken and a bottle of Wild Turkey.
Keep in mind, this movie was directed by Peter Jackson, and how he was able to convince a major studio to give him the hundreds of millions of dollars to film the Lord of the Rings after this, Iâ??ll never know.
