Review of Meet the Feebles (1989) by Edwin L — 30 Jul 2010
My whole life, I've grown up with Jim Henson's beloved Muppets, on both "The Muppet Show" and "Sesame Street." My first exposure to vulgar puppets was the show "Crank Yankers." And then I heard about this film, and learning that Peter Jackson directed...oh, I had to see it.
This is probably Peter Jackson's most irreverent film he's ever made. It's got everything you'd expect a movie where it's Muppets on Acid to have: gore, drugs, sex, violence, all that jazz. But it's funny. Watch at your own risk.
