Arguably Vincente Minnelli's greatest picture is this amusing, splendid musical set in the onset of the 20th century. Great music, detailed direction from Minnelli, and immpeccable staging all lead to this wonderful and joyous experience.
Judy Garland gives another great performance with a voice that lifts every scene. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas is just wonderful enough by itself.
