Review of Meet Me in St. Louis (1944) by Jeff C — 20 Nov 2007
The best hollywood musical. Full stop. Garland is delightful; she never sang better than this (with the possible exception of A Star is Born) and acs wonderfully. You simply fall in love with her by the end of the film.
Even Margaret O'Brien is cute and loveable. A film to give anybody a warm glow on those bank holiday afternoons.
