Review of Meet Me in St. Louis (1944) by Matthew C — 20 Jan 2013

I watched this with my Mom on TCM because she said it was a good movie. And then at the end, said she didn't remember seeing this EVER and maybe she thought it was something else. Regardless, I did NOT love it like everyone else here does.

I thought the family selfish and snide and the little kids were really allowed to run wild [the Halloween scenes were HORRIFYING!!!], Margaret O'Brien was a delight, even when being naughty and really stole the movie.

But overall, did not really enjoy this one!
