The first half of Meet Dave was funny, however, the second half was just a little too cliche for me. The second half was mostly based on romance and betrayal, and all the comedy was crushed into the first half.
I think the laughs I got mostly compensate for the sighs I let out near the end because the first half was actually really funny...
Also, there were times in the movie where I was noticed the special effects and thought to myself "Hey, this is 2008, we can do better than that".
Thats it for my 1 in the morning review. all in all, I think its worth a watch.
