A fun and well made family movie with some depth and plenty of good laughs to it.
Eddie Murphy makes a solid performance in a role that could easily spiral into simply ridiculous and silly in less professional and competent hands. Some people really slander both Murphy and this movie, but thats just neither professional nor fair because this is an entertaining, original, occasionally a bit silly yes, but also plenty of times very funny family movie... All in it´s own right. Also, the special effects are well made - so in my most humble and objective opinion, this movie is simply 90 minutes of pure good family entertainment.
