Review of Meek's Cutoff (2011) by Philip Z — 16 May 2011
Excruciatingly long and dull film populated by characters that I didn't much care about. It may do the job of showing what life was really like on the trail but it's not something I want to spend two hours and ten dollars to experience.
That's the biggest mistake these filmmakers made. They forgot to make the experience interesting. That might do in a history class but a night at the movies? No way.
