Review of Medium Cool (1969) by Maarrk H — 25 Mar 2009
Stunning in its blend of documentary and fiction, but it falls pretty flat in terms of narrative. A brave step forward, sure, but even though it was up there first (in mainstream end-financed-by-Paramount-Pictures-American cinema, anyway), there's far better examples of this sort of film.
