Part 2 is one too many for the series! Mechanic/Resurrection has good action scenes. Jason Statham, just like Stallone, is a great physical actor. Statham's moves and mannerism look great on film. Regrettably, Statham cannot save Mechanic: Resurrection which is weak on story.
A redundant story of Statham must do a hit job to save his lovers. A stale, and predictable story. Thankfully, there are a few memorable stunts/scenes/locations, and Tommy Lee Jones has a memorable role.
The ending leaves room for part 3, which make me roll my eyes. Two stars.
