"Mechanic: Resurrection" features Jason Statham as an international assassin who meets and falls in love with a mysterious girl (Jessica Alba). A former associate kidnaps Alba and commissions Statham to perform three hits or he'll never see his girlfriend again.

Let's be honest. Most Statham movies are popcorn fodder action movies. This one is no different. Sure the characters here are thinly sketched. Sure the plot is underdeveloped, and sure, there are numerous plot holes, but this film was entertaining as hell! It had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning, and all I can ask from an action film is that it's a fun ride, which it was----------------------------------------------- B.
