Some promise for a crazy sex comedy in the first half of the movie, but nothing ever comes of it. Basically, it's just a boring (though perhaps prototypical) camp comedy where they face off against a rival camp and everyone has the time of their lives because of the wacky counselor who flaunts all the rules.
Bill Murray shines, as always, but there's just not much humor here. Go watch "Wet Hot American Summer" instead.
