Review of Meantime (1983) by Party Pete. C — 31 Aug 2010
Mike leigh film from the 80s dealing with typical 80s british working class life, and now notable for the actors who have gone on to great things, tim roth is really great as a withdrawn brother to older siblin played brilliantly by phil daniels, he really should havegone on to greater things after this, alfred molina as a stiff husband, and gary oldman as a skin head, shot like most leigh films, without a script, and coming from rehearsels and charactor background, a great kitchen sink drama, with great performances all round.
