Review of Mean Streets (1973) by Orlando N — 22 Oct 2009
Average.Although it pales by far in comparison to Scorsese's later work, a lot of slack must be cut as this was one of Scorsese's first films, and I personally feel he grew infinitely as a filmmaker with every picture that followed this starting with Taxi Driver.
The highlights of this film were early work by Keitel, and De Niro who is very good in his particualr role.
