Review of Mean Streets (1973) by Keith H — 12 Aug 2010
"You don't make up for your sins in church. You do it in the streets...".
Surprisingly the film that kick-started De-Niro and Scorsese's careers, and it does so with a bang. A gritty and realistic film that has all the makings of a classic. Funny, intelligent and explosve with brilliant dialogue and acting. If it wasn't for Goodfellas, this would be unmatched.
