Scorsese's third film, and his most personal at the time, was a groundbreaking piece that really was unlike any other at the time. The frenetic camera work, the extremely great use of rock and soul music, and the maddening early performance of a young Robert De Niro, this story of a group of friends in New York is as many call it, a quintessential New York film of the times.
Little does everyone know that most of the movie was actually shot in California...
