Adaptation of the original 1974's the Longest Yard, Mean Machine is about soccer and not the american football. The movie is really enjoyable, good characterization. Vinny Jones does the ex-star footballer who lands himself in prison, there on compiling a team of inmates to compete against the guards! Jason Statham plays the Monk! :P.
