Review of Mean Creek (2004) by Holly C — 05 Sep 2008
Described as 'Stand by me meets deliverence' isn't all true. I think it's an original film in its own right. All of the young cast give amazing perfomances, and the main plot of the film really leaves you in shock.
In actual fact, we learn the 'bully' does have problems of his own, but when things get too stressed, the friends snap and accidentally lead him to his death. A beautiful film that everyone should see.
