Review of Mean Creek (2004) by Cory T — 18 May 2008
Powerful, sometimes hard to watch, film about a group of young kids who make a terrible error in judgement that costs the life of a bully they intended to taunt... not kill. the acting is absolutely superb from these young people and the film truly explores, with sometimes unbearable empathy, the choices they are forced to make with this tragedy on their hands.
In an adult-absent world, these kids are forced to make decisions that will make them into people of considerable compassion.
