An intriguing coming-of-age tale that is amazingly acted by a stellar young cast, and carried exceptionally by an array of well-developed characters. Mean Creek" carries an important message and will strike a chord of emotions in most. Although the outcome of the film is no secret, it still packs a punch due to an expertly constructed buildup and some incredible performances from our leads.
Recommended! Especially if you're a fan of films like "Stand by Me".
