Despite slowly creeping throughout the entire film, it manages to provide the atmosphere for suspense, creating endless imaginable endings and follow-ups. A worthy independent film, equipped with a talented and convincing cast of young actors, Mean Creek sends a chill down spines with how far and how close to comfort thrillers can be.
