Review of Me, Myself & Irene (2000) by Steven O — 22 Apr 2013

This film makes me laugh in some spots, but makes me roll my eyes most of the time. The Farrelly brothers are really hit or miss for me. Most parts of the film that are meant to be funny...aren't. That's not to say that the film is entirely unfunny.

As I said, it does make me laugh in some spots, but those spots are few and far between. Most of the film is crude just for the sake of being crude. I guess there is a time and place for that, but it isn't executed well at all in this film.

Jim Carrey did his best with the material that he had to work with, but it still isn't enough to make up for the lackluster and soulless writing.
