Review of Me Him Her (2016) by Tvnewsguido — 11 Mar 2016
You've seen this movie before but you've never seen it quite this way before.
There's an actor who's secretly gay who calls his best friend to come to LA to help him come out of the closet meanwhile an emotionally abused lesbian breaks up with her cheating girlfriend and ends up involved with the best friend. There's also Haley Joel Osment on a treadmill.
With "Chronicle," "American Ultra," and "Victor Frankenstein" writer Max Landis' scripts always subvert our expectations.
With "Me Him Her," Writer/ DIRECTOR Max Landis gives you his unfiltered vision of friendship, relationship, showmanship, sexuality and the sometimes dirty, sometimes magical underbelly of millennial life in LA.
It's a fun, sometimes funny, rambling trip through Landis' hometown. It's worth your time and not a waste of $4.99 on Amazon or whatever the iTunes folks are charging.
