Review of Me Before You (2016) by Mike S — 21 Jun 2016
Emilia Clarke steals the show, and whilst the story might seem like it's about Will, it's really about her. You'll either love her performance or hate it. But if you are on the positive side of that, you'll enjoy her cooky and emotional turn, dressed in crazy outfits, and you'll completely forget her as such a powerful character in Game of Thrones.
The film has been criticized by many in the disabled community for it's ending. I can see their point, but I don't think what they're complaining about is quite what the film was trying to say.
But it's a romantic film with a serious underpinning, which these films need to avoid being just a run of the mill chick flick.
