Okay - yes to the critics, it was a little sappy, and I can't agree with the message the film sends to people with severe disabilities. The book is better and the characters in the book are more complex.

However, it's well cast, and in the category of chick flick romances, it does all the right things to make your heart flutter, and even managed to extract a tear or two in the end.
