The film turned from a light, hopeful romance to a dark drama leaving the audience walking out of the theatre feeling disgusted and frustrated. That is - for any audience that would support their loved one if they made the choice of taking their own life.
Because when it comes down to it, behind the parade of quirky spunky clothes and romantic lap rides and Lou's eyebrows, the film is a promoter for assisted suicide.
