Review of Me Before You (2016) by Calvin C — 07 Jul 2016
The movie deals with a very serious topic, but fluffs it up as your usual romantic drama filled with all the necessary beats. Emilia Clarke is a very bubbly helper next to Sam Clafin's no nonsense patient. The two are great to watch despite all the cliches. The story had the chance to go deeper with its subject matter, but it mostly stays on the surface. I still thought it was better than most of these types of films we are used to watching.
