"Me before you" is like a big, striking pink strawberry candy. It takes a first look to see that it's gonna be incredibly sweet, with a very standard taste, and thus extremely predictable.
If you love extemely sweet stuff, without a hidden, mature flavour, then it's totally your thing. The fault is not to be found in the actors, but rather in the story, that treats very delicate topics with hands covered with cupcake frosting, smothering it into your face and saying "LOOK, IT'S SAD, DON'T YOU FEEL LIKE CRYING?".
