Review of Me and You and Everyone We Know (2005) by Frederick M — 09 Jun 2008
Whoa!! Director Miranda July is certainly in the same league as Todd Solondz and Gregg Araki in the 'weirdness' category. This little tale of a thinly joined group of imperfect people is a bit of a tough watch, very arty and alot strange.
The acting is decent and the story is a bit like a pile of vignettes, but if you don't mind a Sundance special that adresses 'child sexuality' and a guy setting himself on fire within the first 5 minutes, then you might like a few aspects of this self indulgent mess.
Definitely not for young audiences.
