Review of Me and You and Everyone We Know (2005) by Tony P — 10 Mar 2008
Every once in a while someone makes a movie that is just simply perfect. All perfect movies don't have to be depressing and dark and full of sex, drugs and blood, well in many cases movies just like that are the perfection we hope to see and keep looking for. But every now and then a movie pops up that is just simple and enjoyable and positive in every way you can imagine and so extremely naive that you can't help but smile trough the whole damn thing and the cynic bitch in you smiles and loves it and openly, with no shame...and it feels good, doesn't it?
This movie observes a set of people trying to connect with one another, sometimes in most peculiar ways. Funny, refreshing and spiced with a hint of sadness and mourn (i.e: the fish scene) - this movie has that certain something that makes you want to watch it over and over again. Perfect!
